#BREAKING: Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison has enhanced criminal charges against the Minneapolis cop who killed George Floyd, and announced charges against 3 other officers involved in his death.
Attorney General Ellison is charging ALL officers involved in George Floyd’s killing with aiding and abetting murder, and charging Derek Chauvin with second degree murder.
Overdue but necessary justice.

Thanks @brantef and Greg Jennings for a great workshop! Learned a lot about urban stream restoration and can't wait to help out with some native vegetation planting soon.
That’s a wrap! Day 2 of the urban #stream#restoration and assessment workshop is over. Spent time at the Moores Creek projects. Catch us next time if you missed it!
Hey science twitter, anyone have any recommendations for a primer on stream macroinverts? My current work is looking at inverts during restoration projects in the SE US and I'm realizing I know very little...
I'm looking for descriptions of families, their ecological roles, sensitivities to impairments, pictures, and maybe even has tips on how to analyze community data. I have little experience with inverts besides bug-picking and colleagues showing me cool bugs in the field.

Water-minded folks, don't forget the deadline to submit comments on the proposed WOTUS rule is coming up (April 15). The proposed rule could have major impacts on our water resources, especially those in the arid west.
