8-year-old Mykhailo didn't wait for his dad to come home. His father worked at the construction supermarket in Kharkiv and was at work during the Russian attack yesterday.

Since the boy is his only direct relative, investigators had to take his DNA to find his father.

"Investigators and forensic experts have been working all night in this ashes, the ruins of the construction supermarket, looking for something that can be recognized as a human body. We are afraid that we will have to sift through the ashes to find the remains and identify the victims," Serhii Bolvinov, Head of the Kharkiv Region Police Investigative Department, wrote.

Hungary plans to block the transfer of frozen Russian asset revenues abroad to Ukraine, by the European Union.

The relevant proposal from the European Commission is set to be discussed at the European Union leaders’ summit on March 21 in Brussels.

Most EU members share an understanding that frozen Russian resources should go towards defense funding for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Vatnik Orban opposes the use of immobilized assets for this purpose. Budapest believes that these funds should go “for anything but not weapons for the Ukrainians,” according to a source.

The European Commission’s proposal envisages that 90% of the income from frozen Russian assets should be directed towards purchasing weapons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This plan was announced on March 19 by Josep Borrell. At the same time, the EU’s chief foreign policy official expressed confidence that while a decision might not be reached in the near future, his initiative would initiate discussions on the matter.

The majority, 70%, of all frozen Russian assets in the West are held in the Belgian central securities depository Euroclear, amounting to resources worth €190 billion.

Hungary is blocking the process of EU approval of the withdrawal of profits from blocked Russian assets to help Ukraine, the Financial Times wrote.

According to the newspaper's interlocutors, the Hungarian government is "blocking everything related to military support for Ukraine".

Father of 9 year old Irish girl kidnapped on Oct 7th reveals his daughter’s journey to recovery, 7 months after her release from captivity.

Thomas Hand, the father of Emily Hand, has revealed the harrowing conditions she was kept in “She was threatened with a knife if she made any noise, she was 8 at that time. She was petrified to make a sound.”

He also revealed Emily was given small food rations and lost a considerable amount of weight “Food was scarce but not for the terrorists, the hostages could smell the cooking but were not allowed as were kept on rations, ¼ of a pita most days.”

After her release Emily was extremely sensitive to sound with her father revealing “I realised how frightened she was to raise her voice in any way.”

Now after undergoing weekly therapy sessions, horse riding and dog training “She is 95% her old self, she is singing and dancing.”

The young girl who was 8 at the time on Oct 7th was kidnapped while sleeping over at her friends house.
