@sanghvi_karuna Normally Fuel shut off valve is wired locked with 0.8 mm SS wire. It is unbelievable that pilot had operated fuel cutoff switch. There is difference between fuel shutoff switch, valve and fuel pump. Fuel shut off valve can be operated manually and electronically.

@sanghvi_karuna Fuel cut off valve cannot be operated accidentally, this switch is deliberately switch and required extra force to operate this. This switch is wired locked and even flap lock also. Both engine have separate fuel cutoff valve. How both are operated in air.

STT has remained the most draconian tax of all after stamp duty. It collects nearly 30k cr , which certainly is put back towards market infra or any such acceptable cause. It is very much against "stated" principles of simplifying business and ease of doing business.

STT is a tax that is not allowed to be set off or even expenced! (you may not recall but it used to be when it was introduced !! Which made it somewhat palatable, then)

Simply put it It is a tax for doing a transaction. So at the outset itself Govt is not allowing a FREE entry to anybody to do a transaction. It is like a HAFTA that we are allowing you to come to mkts and transact and hence you have to pay this.

This tax is irrelevant when the gains from the mkts are already taxed at good rates!!

NO OTHER COUNTRY in the world has this kind of tax!!

India mkts transaction cost is one of the highest in the world if not the highest. The efficiency of transactions should have been improved successively as capital gain collection improved over decades . Instead they started to see this as an easy cash cow. 🐄🐄

The Late Sh Jaitley was clear that STT and LTCG cannot be put together but IT Dept/FM now wanted both having tasted blood 🩸🩸

People should certainly protest against this archaic and useless tax. Maybe they will please you one day🪧🪧
