Creating a votive of my own really teaches the ideas of belief and community that the production of votives like this represent for Ancient Greece. These sanctuaries filled with votives are just as equally filled with hope, belief, and a community for universal health.

The difference with these anatomical votives is that they are not given out of greed or vengeance, but hope and gratitude. The anatomical votives are made for all people to use to restore their personal health, no matter their status.
