But a returning offense with new weapons scored 7 points in a half where the opposing teams offense never really threatened. And game on the line QB threw 3 picks. I’d be worried about a SB return

@d_man_doitagain @domthepatsfan Not the same argument. Problem isn’t losing week 1. Problem is after going to a SB and improving in the offseason, team lost to an elite defense down a few starters and a backup qb. If winning the Super Bowl is the goal, that game shouldn’t make you feel good

@d_man_doitagain @domthepatsfan Facts are facts. If the goal of the season is to win a Super Bowl, Pats going to have to beat elite defenses likely more than one. This wasn’t a great showing in pursuit of that goal 🤷‍♂️
