A girl who was following all traffic rules was chased for a considerable distance on the roads of Gurugram and deliberately hit by a car driver,(Car No: HR 30Y 4949) with the intent to cause permanent disability and to take her life.
Even after the driver was chased by a motorcyclist and stopped at a red light and repeatedly asked to help the injured victim, he refused to stop. Instead he fled the scene at high speed even jumping a red light.

I would request you to take immediate cognisance of this incident, identify and arrest the driver, and initiate a criminal case against the driver under the BNS including :

1. Section 109, BNS : Attempt to Murder
2. Section 117(3), BNS : Voluntarily Causing Grievous Hurt resulting in Permanent Disability
3. Section 118(2), BNS: Voluntarily Causing Grievous Hurt by Dangerous Weapons or Means.

4. Along with all applicable provisions relating to hit and run, fleeing the scene, and failure to provide assistance.
