Early accounts from Papua New Guinea described people eating a wild mushroom and suddenly seeing tiny, lifelike figures moving around them, a rare “lilliputian” hallucination. Decades later, the same reports surfaced in Yunnan and the Philippines. All lead back to one species: Lanmaoa asiatica.
And still, no known psychedelic compounds have been found.

Researchers are now sequencing and analyzing this mushroom to understand what’s behind these consistent effects. A new molecule? A biological mechanism we haven’t seen before?

The first DMT brain imaging study is now complete and the first paper has been published, with another coming soon.

Increased delta and theta brain-waves under DMT indicate that the DMT state is very similar to the dreaming state.

Super happy for @YYC_CK finishing 3rd in the @WSOPC in Calgary 🇨🇦 for $99,636!

Chris is a senior software engineer with a family & limited time to play and study poker, but he manages to stick to his study routine throughout the year, even if it's just squeezing in 20-30 minutes at a time to stay in shape. He does this even when he has 3-month stretches of little to no poker.

He joined @jakacoaching in 2021 and was thrilled to see his new high score of $16k online. This summer @WSOP Milly Maker, he found a new high score, finishing 13th for $86,130. Now, once again, he's topped that with an even higher score 🔥

Chris has become a good friend of mine, and it's been super impressive seeing how he uses the same dedication, work ethic, & productivity hacks that make him successful in his career to be successful in his competitive side hobby at the poker tables.
