UCT and Wits really need to grow up. Every other week one or the other claims to be number one. You are both good for heavens sake. Tweaks in irrelevant indicators mean nothing. Are you number 1 in resolving poverty or inequality in schools? Stop chasing shadows
@MorwaRamoabi@epxcspam@Uncle_Thaps You do not know me or my opinions. I’ve written a whole article on this very same thing with President Zuma. I’m loyal to no man but myself.

The IMF guy is 38 years old. Both Lesetja and Enoch have been overseeing SA public finances since 1994, when the IMF guy was 6 years old. They are there to be told how to manage their country's finances. What a shame.

I genuinely don't give two fucks about conservative display of respect in a marriage. Just treat me the way you want to be treated.
However, the day I see my wife kneel down to accord any pastor -
She'll kneel down to serve me food & greet me daily or else there'll be problem.
@Hardusvosloo@NdzaviDerrick I think your concern is valid and your arguments are fair. But this Eskom team is very competent. I don’t think they’ll mismanage this.
I’ll check in in like 5-8 years if this project has gone to the dogs, I’ll concede🤝
I just hope they do what’s right.
He represented us well globally and has done a lot to reaffirm our global position and maintain relationships with global powers.
Navigated complex and difficult situations very well (Covid, GBV crisis, worldwide economic downturn, load shedding).
However, at a local level there are many failures. Chief among these is little economic growth, high unemployment and the decline of service delivery.
But this doesn’t make him the worst imo. It’s decent. I just think his term was full of turbulence. But what he failed at is fixable. Things could be a lot worse, we’re not in a destitute state and we could have been. He’s acknowledged many of these failures and has made policy decisions that aim to correct things in his second term. Also I blame local leadership more for these failures than the president. I don’t think a president is liable for everything wrong in a society.
Let's share the application with every young person who qualifies. This is an opportunity to empower our youth and create a brighter future.@CityTshwane@maluksa
@Hardusvosloo@NdzaviDerrick Where are you getting these numbers from? How can you so confidently talk about something when you haven’t even seen what the actual agreement is?
We pay taxes regardless. We need this infrastructure. To me this is a good use of my taxes and something I can support.
Fear mongering. SA is a functional state, do what March and March is doing. There’s no need for violence. Attend meetings, go to city councils, and town halls. Just participate as a citizen. Make your voice heard.
Voting or violence isn’t the only way to be heard. There’s a lot you can do.
@maxcrichter@NdzaviDerrick We’re not in disagreement🤝. I’m just saying me personally I refuse to be negative about good developments in my country. As long as the project gets done I’ll be happy. We need this.
@maxcrichter@NdzaviDerrick Nah man. If you actually do research, SA is doing well on many things. Like better than a lot of countries. We are just heavily propagandised into negative perceptions of the country’s government. Our country is great!🇿🇦

@BEEtycoon@Uncle_Thaps We are not remotely in the same category as China in terms of development. China is a superpower, we aren’t.
But projects like this will help us develop. I refuse to be negative about something that will better the country.
@maxcrichter@NdzaviDerrick Fairs but I feel like South Africans are just so negative about the country, even when good things are happening. I saw people complaining about a hospital that was built, a hospital😂
