Joe Biden has been one of America’s most consequential presidents, as well as a dear friend and partner to me. Today, we’ve also been reminded – again – that he’s a patriot of the highest order.

Revisiting some things on the topic of communication partners, listened again to this @talkingwithtech conversation between @attipscast and @klhowery. Brilliant conversation about reality, modelling. #aac https://t.co/pu9Sgr9Khr
Did you hear Smith discuss her provincial pension plan on her 630 CHED call-in radio show today (Saturday)? Apparently she avoided giving callers exact numbers and wasn’t really wanting to talk about opposing ideas or concerns.
Smith claims that Albertans can get more benefits with lower contributions, based on numbers from the LifeWorks report.
She wants 53 per cent of the Canada Pension Plan’s asset pool, or $334 billion, by 2027.
Smith said an Alberta plan would be legally required to match or exceed the CPP’s benefits. Hmmm… 🤔
UCP’s ad campaign, running until spring 2024 alongside the Jim Dinning-led public engagement panel, will cost $7.5 million.
Doesn’t seem like Danielle Smith really cares to hear what Albertans think. Her UCP survey assumes all Albertans want to leave the CPP and transfer their pensions to a new Alberta Pension plan. UCP spending on pension advertisements suggests they will pay to force their ideas into Albertans heads.
Does your child's school have a seclusion room?
It's important that parents are aware that the use of seclusion and restraint in schools is allowed by Alberta Education. 🧵 1/4

With the NDP now clearly leading in Alberta, you can be sure the UCP will try to pretend an NDP government is bad for the economy. I'd encourage anyone tempted to believe that to cast their eyes west to BC, where the NDP has been in power since 2017.
.@AbDanielleSmith#abed minister requested that superintendents across Alberta send this misleading letter to all parents.
With inflation & increased enrollment, education is actually getting a cut, not a 5% increase.
Superintendents used for partisan messaging.

A family decided to leave Alberta for reasons that disturb be and should disturb every Albertan.
Read for yourself.
Is this the Alberta we want to gift to our children?
