Perception: Since SAS is in GIAA, their schedule includes a few GHSA teams but they mainly play other small private schools.
Reality: This may have been true years ago. However, in being willing to travel anywhere and play anyone, SAS has since built a quality program that now schedules GHSA teams for the MAJORITY of their games. Out of the 26 games in their regular season schedule, 16 of them were against GHSA schools (7 of which made this year’s state tournament.)
