Low population? But China has a massive population and still maintains excellent roads. The real difference, I think, is simple: zero tolerance for corruption. The Taliban and Communist China impose extreme penalties for corruption, even death, while we barely manage a functional jail term. How many contractors or govt officials here have ever gone to jail for rampant road-project corruption?

I have seen @PuneCityTraffic team standing in a corner everywhere for cutting challans and managing the traffic is their last priority. A distance of 7 kms took 3 hours last night n general janta was managing the traffic. @skoswal @m2_manish @shaishav13 @MirrorPune @punespulse

The recent accident in Pune is a proof of that either @PuneCityPolice does not work or people have no fear of @PuneCityPolice. We hv seen @MumbaiPolice doing super job that every1 fear drinking and driving. The death of 2 youngs is on @PuneCityPolice @PuneCityTraffic @CPPuneCity

@ThaiAirways are bassinet seats chargeable? On ur site it says no, however, when I called up to book one, they said they will take a charge of INR 2900 per person. Ain’t this unjustified

@IndiGo6E @JM_Scindia pls start a flight from Pune to Udaipur, thrice a week would also be fine but it is just difficult to go via Mumbai or Ahmedabad. Plus other sectors are not great
