They also visited the Northern area of Lima via Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) of which the IDB was partner of the first phase of the project. @igoldfajn also met with our colleagues in the local office. The IDB has been a partner for #Peru since 1961, and our commitment continues.

In their meetings with president Dina Boluarte @presidenciaperu, Ana Gervasi @CancilleriaPeru, Álex Contreras @MEF_Peru, Albina Ruíz @MinamPeru, Paola Lazarte @MTC_GobPeru and other high officials, both presidents highlighted the importance of investments in key social areas, good planning in sustainable physical and digital infrastructure, as well as the relevance of #Amazon for the region and the world among other topics. The Presidents explored with officials, areas in which the institutions may l work hand-in-hand to continue #ImprovingLives.
