J.J. McCarthy played ONE quarter Sunday and is currently the fantasy QB10 heading into MNF.

That would give him as many QB1 finishes this season as Bo Nix, Cam Ward, Geno Smith and Sam Darnold.

And more than Kyler Murray, Justin Herbert, Baker Mayfield and Daniel Jones.

Understand that a few things can be true at the same time!

JJ could look like a better QB in a Giants uniform, the Vikings could still have a successful season with Murray at quarterback.

But theres legitimate questions surrounding O’Connell’s offensive and his ability to develop a young quarterback. So a few things can be true without one canceling out the other.

You don’t have to root for one scenario to fail for the other to succeed. Lets let everything play itself out! #vikings #nfl #skol

@vikingsspin Ok so you are comparing Kyler’s 4th start to JJs first time with the giants. How about first game to first game. JJ out played Kylers first experience with the Vikings 3-5 18 yards and a pick. How about Kyler’s second game 15-29, 168 yards an TD and a pick.

@DomClare Yes he has to definitely improve, not arguing that. The giants today wouldn’t take a 5th for him if someone called that needed a QB. You can’t say he didn’t have a good 4th quarter for them.
