The Knicks losing every 1st quarter and winning the series 4-1 seems weird. Here is the Knicks deficit by game
Game 1 -8
Game 2 -9
Game 3 -11
Game 4 -19
Game 5 -10
I almost hesitate to promote this, because it wasn't really intended to be a piece. I just sort of sat down and it came out. Maybe someone else out there has the same type of day today, and it'll speak to them.

Everyone knew ncaa tournament expansion to 76 was inevitable. Almost nobody wants it. Those trying to argue its merits are gaslighting you. I’ve written it many times — it’s a lousy development that contributes to the erosion of what makes college sports great.
I was at this game.
Might have been the best Bowling Green team I've seen but Miami, OH was the BEST MAC team in history.
BG beat No. 16 Purdue, lost to defending National Champ Ohio State by only 7 and beat No. 12 Northern Illinois with College Gameday on campus. However, the Falcons got crushed by Miami twice.
Miami finished No. 5 in the Sagarin ratings which resemble Vegas power ratings. Can you imagine a Top 5 MAC team?!?!
Adam... I have been on this corner for a couple years. No one brings it up. The bad team draft separates your record from direct impact in lotto standings and it does some other things I think Silver would be interested in.
Fanbases will be interested and engaged with at least one other franchise in a big way. If it increases engagement from the biggest NBA fans by 10-20% that is huge. I think it would be bigger than that. Imagine NY/LA own Memphis' pick slot... a mega fanbase is now watching one with great interest.
It will create some enmity/rivalry. Another team thinks you suck... that's fun.
You can also make it an ESPN special where the team picks are announced either live or through some sort of broadcast. People would watch.
Will some teams still lose a little more than they should to get the first pick in the bad teams draft? Maybe. I just don't see a team getting excited about losing a few games on purpose to move from 8th to 6th when another team is getting the direct benefit. Also, if you look at the Vegas pre-season odds for win totals you would see its harder than you think to predict the 10-15 worst teams in the league.
A Champion has been crowned and one shining moment has passed, but when we think back on this season the Miami RedHawks run is going to be what we remember the most @MiamiOH_BBall
Here's what this year's team could mean for the future of Miami basketball, the MAC and more
32-2. Miami reached heights nobody could’ve ever predicted. Rough way to end it, but it doesn’t take away from the RedHawks in the history books forever.
Love And Honor. Forever and a day.
