Millions had already been spent on the proposed extension of Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto.

Now, the expansion has been cancelled by PM Carney, simply because it creates an advantage for a one-off by-election in Toronto/Beaches.

A multi-billion-dollar project is cancelled for purposes of short-term political expediency.

You can like or dislike the idea of this expansion, but its cancellation is a perfect example of why investing in Canada is a fool's game.
