@TooMuchMortons_ Buy/Sell whatever, I think you keep him. Based on the ages of the big contracts I think the window just happens to align with Miller’s years of control. So you keep him and move the expiring contract guys if you want to try and set something up for a run within these next few yrs

@AndThatsBB @JKrigg Also helps to be able to spend a ton to fix any issue with FA’s and keep all prospects you hit on. EX: Padres have done pretty good finding guys but nearly all of them come up under other orgs after they’re traded for guys they can’t afford to sign in free agency

@MartyCaswell @FriarTerritory @DSmithShow I think it’s simple. If you get into a wildcard position by the deadline you try to buy and make a second half run. If you’re out of a WC spot, then you sell and work to get to 27 or 28 whenever the next baseball season ends up being.

@JakeGaregnani As early as it is, I think we can be legitimately concerned. We spent all of 2023 thinking there’s no way the roster doesn’t turn it around. Wouldn’t go as far to say this is the same but this group has shown problems being able to turn it on for a while now.
