Officer Luis Huesca, 30, was shot and killed during a carjacking today on Chicago's south side neighborhood.

He was a 6 year veteran of the Chicago Police department assigned to the Area 2 PRT team.

Huesca was a classmate and friend of slain CPD officer Andres Vasquez-Lasso.

RIP officers, you will never be forgotten.

Officer Areanah Preston was shot and killed on the 8100 block of S Blackstone.

We're told she recently finished her master's degree and is relatively new officer for the Chicago Police Department.

Circumstances around the shooting remain unclear and many rumors are floating around.

At this point, it seems like a random shooting.

SouthSide Army Vet and CPD Officer Danny Golden was shot while off duty trying to break up a fight the other night.

The shooting has left him paralyzed from the waist down.

A fund has been set up to help out Danny through these tough times.
