Excited to share our plans for expanding our indexer to @TeamKujira via the @KujiraSenate. My lead dev @pharr117 will be here too, feel free to bring technical questions.
@astroport_fi Trading Luna -> Astro on Terra has bad trades (illiquid pool). There is a good route from Luna -> USDC -> Astro. DEX frontend should pick best route automatically not users. I believe @osmosis still has similar issues but less pronounced due to higher liquidity.
✦ COMMUNITY CALL | MEV ON ASTROPORT ✦
Join the next Astroport Community Call to stay up-to-date on the latest developments regarding MEV on Astroport.
This time @SkipProtocol (Skip Protocol) and @kmose88 (Redpoint) will talk about MEV implementation on Astroport.
🚨 We will be loosing a major delegation to our @osmosis val on 3/16/2023. 🚨
156,659 OSMO will be un-delegated and this will knock us out of the active set.
We want to keep validating, but need 51 K osmo delegated in the next few days.

💡Did you know @DefiantLabs invented smart contracts that are guaranteed to win arbitrage for your DEX ❔
1⃣️ Simulate your trade using our API.
2⃣️ Execute the user's trade and smart contract within the same TX to capture the arbitrage.
Check out Redpoint API by @DefiantLabs . (An MEV Simulator for clients).

@RangoExchange Would love to show you an api @DefiantLabs has built for dexes. It allows you to offer better rates to your users by collecting arbitrage upfront and giving to your users.
Example from osmosis (user gets 3 osmo back on trade)

Thanks to everyone who reached out! See https://t.co/fL9ynsXzRW. "CLI tool for swapping tokens on Osmosis. Maximizes rates by capturing arbitrage which is awarded to the user instead of others (bots, protocols)"
So far, 100% success rate with defiant-swap CLI tool.
Examples: https://t.co/bze484tVid and
https://t.co/XTpjTz2Bto (in both cases note the second swap, doing the arb).
Release this week.
In the near future Defiant will be releasing a tool that offers traders a discount on Osmosis swaps. We do this by capturing the arbitrage revenue at the time you trade and directing a majority of that revenue back to you!
So @notionaldao 100% deserved it *anyways*
But this might be the funniest way I've ever seen a validator enter the Top 10 of a validator set

(3) and pass those fees to validators. Game theory would suggest that almost all arb profits would then go to Skip protocol (pay the most for prioritization, or someone else will pay more). Not saying it's good or bad. But maybe better than cheating nodes :)
(1) Modified my Osmosis arb bot to prove that when my (arbitrage) TXs are submitted first, they still end up *not first* in the block. This means large # of nodes are changing order of arb TXs. To compete on Osmosis, you need a large node bot net that behaves badly.
(2) Alternatively, you can pay validators to prioritize TXs (or cheat if you run your own validator). I know Skip Protocol promises to make this better, but I am curious how their payments will work. By my understanding, Skip will collect fees (e.g. from arb traders) ...
