WOW! Thank you Oak Creek! What an amazing turnout tonight to support our ASL Varsity Soccer team vs Hamilton. On behalf of the players and families of the team…thank you, thank you, thank you! @OCFSD
What would Christian Yelich say to Brewers fans feeling angsty after three straight losses to the Cubs?
“Who cares?”
Before you take that answer completely out of context, hear him out.
What an honor to spend time with Edward Miklavcic. He’s an Air Force veteran from World War II, 105 years old and one of the oldest Pearl Harbor survivors. He said it was one of the best days of his life to be here for today’s game. Incredible life and gentleman. ❤️
Instead of stealing Greenland from Denmark, let’s steal some of their policies.
In Denmark:
- Health care and college are free.
- The starting wage is $22/hr.
- Paid parental leave is 1 year.
- Paid vacation is 6 weeks.
- All workers get pensions.
Prior to today’s game we held a moment of silence to remember @Brewers legendary broadcaster Bob Uecker 💙
“Mr. Baseball” spent 70 years in baseball, including being a member of the St. Louis Cardinals 1964 World Championship team. After retiring from playing, he would spend 54 years in the Brewers broadcast booth, becoming the heart of Milwaukee baseball, and the sound of summer in the Midwest.
He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003 as the Ford C. Frick Award recipient. The entire game of baseball joins the Milwaukee Brewers in mourning his loss.
