@banka_meera Crazy to learn the false facts that spread in the science world. Open science is a must in order to stop the continuation of publication bias. Because of the capitalist world we live in, I do understand researchers motivations to fudge their data. The system needs to change!
@TryingToPsych That is great way to look at it! In class we were taught about all the dangers that come along with false information and how the science world is full of it. We also learned different ways to help stop those ways illustrated by @chrisdc77#hopeforthefuture
#PSYC4180D, here is a link to a free and open article that discusses the prevalence of researchers fabricating false data and additional factors that motivate them to do this https://t.co/sjxtIYe3om

The main goal of science is to reveal the truth, right? #PSYC4180 taught me that many researchers alter their data to make it seem new & successful, a problem related to publication bias. Not everything in science is true and a lot of it is falsified to get the desired results.
I created a self evaluation for my mom to fill out this week to see how well she learned from my teachings over that last couple months and get feedback on areas I could improve on @YEPeducation#letsteachadults

@AbigaylCarvalho@YEPeducation Hey! We did the two 30 min workout! Her knee has been troubling her a bit so she found it difficult walking for so long with no break. She loved how the exercises were focused around adults in their 50βs, with her being 58 it was perfect for her!
My mom and I stumbled on this great online workout! She loved the motivation she got from this instructor and I will be sure to include more verbal motivation in our upcoming workout sessions @YEPeducation#LetsTeachAdults
This week I had to modify my moms workout plan because she injured her knee. It was difficult to find exercises that didnβt hurt her knee but we managed! Going to ice it and will be back to 100% next week π¦Ύπ¦Ώ@YEPeducation#LetsTeachAdults
ARM DAY! This week my mom and I focused on arm exercises. Her goal is to look like the Rock. Just joking, she really enjoyed this week and having me do the workouts with her @YEPeducation#LetsTeachAdults
@YEPeducation I thought it was a perfect representation of my mom during the stretches. She was struggling because she hasnβt stretched in so long ππ
This week I taught my mom different stretches and how important it is to stretch before and after a workout. With this I was able to see how flexible she was and get an idea of what her body is capable of @YEPeducation#LetsTeachAdults
Today I went on a walk with my mom. By getting our steps in, we brainstormed some workout ideas and places she wants to improve on @YEPeducation#LetsTeachAdults
With Christmas just around the corner and our region in lockdown, I taught my mom how to online shop. Black Friday deals were great and excited for Cyber Monday. Amazon was a major website we used. My mom loved how simple and safe it was @YEPeducation#letsteachadults
