After a loooong break, I'm back into the mentoring space! I've always found a lot of fulfilment in educating, exchanging knowledge and learning stuff in the process💡

Everyone comparing the Dynamic Island with Android holepunch cutouts, without realising 90% of the people buying the iPhone 14 Pro models will be coming from a previously ugly notch. It's relatively more aesthetic + it's functional.
It's fascinating that @Twitter has replaced the classic share icon with a @WhatsApp icon (at least for me, maybe a/b testing). Tapping still opens the full share sheet, but it's crazy that WhatsApp has become synonymous with sharing content with others.
@MKBHD You can stop the phone sliding away from the wireless charging pad inside the #rivian truck by sticking a magnetic magsafe ring (Amazon) on it 🧲

Maybe the answer is to have a separate search engine to index design talent? It can be something that can plug into other sites like @read_cv. It's a vague thought experiment 😋.
Chime in your thoughts!
💡Finding talent would be easier if a search engine could index projects/case studies within designer portfolio sites - like how you can search for Marvel tees and Google will list down top sites which sell them. Thinking out loud 🧵
Maybe because some sites are hard coded, some use no code tools and some are simply not updated in years - probably making them less favoured? Not sure.
