Seems like it hadn’t been properly bound by the publisher. Riverrun, am I wrong? Made no difference to the story but think Louise O’Neill is entitled to expect better.

@Pidge There are sports clubs that operate from the park and would be difficult for them to access those sports clubs without driving there. There are car parks that as usually open which were, on that evening, closed.

@raggagirly I assumed her behaviour was as a result of seeing her father‘s treatment of her mother and so it made sense to me in that context. It’s a real-life experience that Sally Rooney chose to depict in the book.

@justiceforkeith Listening to the “Casefile” podcast involving this case. I can’t imagine how hard it is to have lost a loved one in such circumstances. It’s disheartening to see the efforts made to seek justice fall on seemingly deaf ears. Is there an update?
