I actually spent nine months focusing on forearms because of carpal tunnel - hammer curls are the primary exercise, with assisted pullups using a hammer curl grip as well (the machine had separate bars for this). Then I would do those little grip squeezers as well - I bought a set off amazon. The carpal tunnel dramatically improved and my friend's kids randomly said my forearms looked ripped so worked pretty well.
It's probably going to vary by muscle because some muscles are very high percentage of slow twitch fibers, while others are titled towards fast twitch. For what it's worth I started lifting about a year and a half ago and had to switch to high rep ranges about two months in because of a tendon injury. I gained around 20 pounds in this period that I am pretty sure is all muscle (same belt loop and pants size, visually look roughly the same in terms of fat). I was starting with 10 reps and progressing to 20, then going back down. It felt like I was at a plateau so I just switched to a 5-10 range a few weeks ago and I'm seeing very rapid gains in my lifts. I think I'm basically getting two "noob gains" periods (mostly slow twitch then mostly fast twitch).
The one downside to doing the 10-20 range though is that I was noticeably sore for a lot longer and had longer recovery times and was only able to lift two days a week. I also highly recommend not doing that much on the hack squat machine - 20 reps a set on that was leaving me hobbled for most of the week.
@packleader666@Nazlistellax@Milkmeray Wrong. The American dream is for trained eagles to deliver the hotdog sauce to Europeans as fireworks explode in the horizon.
@shoutaimuzu Just to share a little more crazy culture with our Japanese friends - this baseball team delivers the hot dogs via parachute into the stadium, called Hot Dogs from Heaven:

Not letting him leave is kidnapping under Texas law if it involves a threat of deadly force (sticking an AK-47 to his head). It will be a 3rd degree felony with 2-10 years for that charge alone. Might be a federal kidnapping charge too if he crossed state lines to get there because that applies if he "confines" someone. If he did then he's facing 20 years max for that charge.
@topi3001 Japanese fitness content has joined my feed 😂 I hope you enjoy the American version if you see it which is huge guys yelling that manhood can only be achieved by benching 350 pounds after taking their paid course
@YUI3MOV Me in the United States watching a German movie today based on a Japanese film review account 🤣 kind of liking my new Twitter feed that is almost entirely in Japanese

A $1 billion lawsuit against Coinbase has just been filed by our client, BiT Global Digital Limited, over the delisting of wBTC. We're seeking an immediate temporary restraining order to stop the threatened delisting! The lawsuit is available here:

@anymanfitness I had lifelong knee pain in one knee that went away pretty quickly and permanently when I got wide-toed shoes (mine were Altra). It's worth considering a shoe change just to see if they're putting some kind of pressure on it etc.
