@BobIrvingCJOB You can't say you are for protecting players if you are going to pick which head shots you like or don't. They are both bad hits that were completely avoidable hits to the head.
@k_alxdr@Sportsnet Agree, they are not comparable. However it's still a high hit where head contact is avoidable. I think for the situation room to say clean hit is a tough look for them.

@bjizzle56 Attempt is a rediculous part of this rule. Unless McClain could change physics he was hitting the QB. Outrageous that the CFL command center rules the way they did after watching that play.
@CFL let's have a talk about repeated headshots the booth refuses to review. You intervene in other spots but refuse to protect players other than QB's who get speared, or other shots to the head. When will you take head trauma seriously in order to protect this great game? #CFL
