@MarioNawfal It’s weird, when Isralies are internally displaced, they call it being internally displaced.
When Palestinians are internally displaced, they call it being refugees.
Why is that?
@neuralmural @RubenQuidu @ShaykhSulaiman Actually I think it’s being used to burn away brush to remove cover from the enemy. Either way, it’s allowed by international law.
@DavidSamollow@bethanyshondark Lots of good doesn’t spoil for many months, some years. Corn for example. Where’s the stockpiles of corn they have, is it underneath the rockets maybe?
@BeryRen@CassandraRules Have a scroll. I went down about a weeks worth, there maybe 50+ posts about atrocities against Palestinians, and 0 about atrocities against Israelis.
Does that mean you’ll unfollow?
@BeryRen@CassandraRules When has she highlighted any atrocities carried out by Palestinians? Her news feed is populated with alleged atrocities against Palestinians, I don’t see any highlighting those agaist the Israelis.
@BeryRen@CassandraRules Isn’t the posts Cassandra is making the digital form of a physical poster?
She’s posting about people in a foreign land- highlighting their situation- just because it’s digital, and on your phone instead of on the street, it’s the same thing in essence.
@AncapDeist @not_tattered666@LibertyLockPod I knew about it- it is common Nazi era propaganda.
That’s why people thought it was a dog whistle- by its very definition it
Has to be subtle with not everyone knowing it, otherwise it’s not a dog-whistle.
@RibaldBarterman @SecondHandVegan @LibertyLockPod Yeah I think that’s it. Problem is its placement makes it obvious the toy is there for a reason, as a subtle signal, so easy to see why people misinterpreted the signal given the subject of the post.
@AncapDeist @not_tattered666@LibertyLockPod Greta added the octopus deliberately as a signal. I believe it was to signal unhappiness (an autism tool) but it’s easy to see why people might have thought the signal was something else.
@AncapDeist @not_tattered666@LibertyLockPod It’s all about context.
The number 88 isn’t racist. But if you deliberately have 88 as a prop on a photo where you denounce black people, then people are going to assume it’s the 88=HH=Heil Hitler.
@Nillagorilla88@LibertyLockPod Greta deliberately placed the octopus in the photo to make a point, that much is obvious, but I believe her point was something else, to do with her autism. However, considering it was obviously placed there as a prop, I can see why people thought it was the other reason.
