Why is Trump so focused on making America the "crypto capital of the world"?

When leaders promote policies that may personally enrich themselves while framing them as being in the public's best interest, we should be asking hard questions.

I've had concerns about cryptocurrency, global influence, and the role countries like Russia may play in weakening democratic institutions and financial systems. Whether or not you agree with my conclusions, it's essential that we educate ourselves, examine credible evidence, and avoid accepting narratives at face value.

This is why understanding undue influence matters. Trump, MAGA, and other authoritarian movements often rely on emotional messaging, identity, and repetition to shape public opinion. When we learn to recognize these cult tactics, we become far less vulnerable to manipulation, whether it comes from politicians, media, corporations, or foreign actors.

Protecting our freedom of mind starts with education.

- this was the life advice Leymah Gbowee got from her most memorable teacher.

Peace activist Gbowee had a university teacher that inspired and encouraged her to use her voice, speak up for herself and find her self-confidence. Gbowee was a hard working student but she never spoke up in class. Her teacher gave her an F on a paper, leading Gbowee to ask if he had even read it. A week later he returned the paper again - but this time with an A. The lesson her teacher wanted to teach her was to speak up for herself.

Gbowee herself has explained it as the "moment I found my voice" and says that this high school teacher shaped her into the peace activist she is today.
