The accent ๐
Of course.
"First I want to ensure... that our candidates aren't just from middle-class white backgrounds"
*Is patently middle-class and white* ๐
Do these guys ever look around at each other, all pudgy, and unkempt, and low-T, and seriously think that THEY are going to be the ones leading the revolution?
@wylfcen Yes.
I don't know why anybody would want one (other than for the intimidation factor), because not only are they dangerous, they are ugly to look at.
There's nuance to be understood here.
I like masculine men who have a heart.
I find it attractive when a masculine man who doesn't give two shits what people think, has a genuine display of emotion.
It's so authentic. It shows that he has a feeling heart, and that he really cares.
A couple examples from famous men to illustrate:
- Gordon Ramsay sometimes get tears in his eyes when he talks about his kids leaving home. He really loves his kids and being a dad.
- Dr Nassif on the TV show Botched. Sometimes a patient will come in with a heart-wrenching story that will bring a tears to his eyes.
The danger zone is when a man emotionally crashes out into hopelessness and despair. That will upset the polarity in the relationship, because she will now have to be 'the strong one'. Instinctively she knows that one of you has to be the strong one.
And by the way if your dad dies or your dog dies, it's completely fine to sob. Those are normal and healthy human emotions. I'd feel privileged to support my man and be his refuge during those times.
Crying becomes icky when it crosses into signalling that you're weak and/or emotionally unstable.
@StirlingWisdom Yes, so, so true.
And it puts a giant smile on her face for the rest of the day too :)
I never knew about this until it happened to me. That wasn't until I was 28(!), when I got into a LTR with a man who cared about and enjoyed making me orgasm.
@tyleraloevera Oh my god WHY ๐ซ
This is insane on so many levels that it hurts. If they don't reverse this soon Ireland will be gone. Already 23% of Ireland's population is foreign born.
And leaded petrol.
There really might be something to this, because their attitude does seem to be aberrant. The Silent Generation were not like them, and I don't see that Gen X will be either.
I've witnessed first-hand some of the solipsism from my own boomer parents. The phenomenon is real.
