I haven’t tweeted much about it, but I’ve been struggling with postpartum depression and anxiety ever since Galileo was born. The weight of having to take care of a totally dependent little person who you’re so afraid to fuck up really wears on you.

@labarohn @HeyDoryen Sincerely, the mom up at 4:30 am pumping for triple feeding an infant before work in an apartment that ranges from 79-86 degrees, and is still dealing with severe PPD and PPA even after group therapy, individual therapy, and her first psych appointment today 🙃

Potentially unpopular opinion: if you can’t teach the whole curriculum without homework, your curriculum is the problem. Kids aren’t“quiet quitting” by expecting to only do work @ school. After 7-8 hrs of work, they should expect to protect their peace & find joy when they leave
