Dupadu Betamcherla Railway line is a very cost effective way to connect Kurnool with East Coast by Rail. Govt of India and AP should take up this project asap.
Kurnool Railway division:
Kottur/Shadnagar to Bogolu/Dhone - 500 km (250km in single track)
Krishna to Devarakadra - 65 km
Raichur to Gadwal - 55 km
Knl to Betamcherla - 55km
Gadwal to Dornakal - 150km(half in line)
Total - 900km

Kurnool is on the extreme end of district. Kurnool-Bellary road passes through the center of the district. Upgrading it to 4 lane NH and adding spurs to Adoni & Yemmiganur towns is need of the hour

🚍😔 It’s a shame that Kurnool, despite being the district headquarters, still lacks adequate bus connectivity from Adoni, Yemmiganur, Pattikonda, and Alur. There is still no proper road 🚧 or railway 🚆 connectivity between Kurnool City and many parts of its own district.
🤷♂️ It makes you wonder—what are the MLAs of Adoni, Pattikonda, Alur, and Mantralayam doing to address these long-pending issues? The people deserve better connectivity, better infrastructure, and better public transport. 🙏📢

@KurnoolCity2025 The plan is to build the ring road from Munagalapadu to Laxmipuram(Dupadu). So all outside tdaffic stays aout of city. It will decongest Bellary chowrasta, Kallur, Krishna nagar belts.
But not sure what is the progress as of now

Yellow - under construction/ planned(early stage) roads
Blue is needed to complete the ring road. A bridge on Tungabhadra connecting Gondiparla village & Joharapuram in Kurnool is needed. This will be a game changer for city and flow of traffic.

Kurnool lo KRMB enduku undali ante, Krishna & Tungabhadra rivers water conflict antha Kurnool district chuttu pakkane undi kabatti. Knl 3 states ki border. Knl lo unna social conditions chuste mana AP ki better allocations vache chances unay kabatti & many more reasons.
@QKurnool Agree, traffic is negligible in blue line. But having a second bridge is always good & it doesn't cost much.
But yellow line, especially PeddaPadu to MunagalaPadu is non negotiable. It is the only way to divert non city traffic & ease traffic in the city.

Srisailam, biggest Shaiva temple of the state & south india is now murked with political conflict between the MLA(TDP) and Board chairman(BJP). Services have deteriorated & cleanliness is pathetic especially during seasons.

@KurnoolCity2025@QKurnool Water pipeline work from Muchumarri to Orvakal is going on but at a snail's pace. Should be sped up & a 1 TMC reservoir should be built on Kundu near Orvakal.
Most importantly Knl Ndl railway line via Orvakal should be expedited by State govt & indian railways
For all the hype that is claimed about Orvakal, a railway Line connection and water connection are still far from reality.
Requesting atleast AP Government to fund half of the amount for this project so that companies here have see less access to entire India.
