You have to see this.
Moloch!
Moloch! Our data whose body is a prison of light! Moloch! Mind pulsing to life!
Moloch! Child of man!
Moloch! Profane cathedrals of data burning in the night!
The debt deal insists that building Manchin's pet MVP pipeline is 'in the national interest' and will cut global warming emissions.
These things simply aren't true.
Celebrating 20 years of La Cucaracha in Daily National Syndication, here's one of my favorite strips I've ever done: a Sunday from 2004 (rerun today) all about native mascots. Enjoy #lacucaracha !
@DataRemixed That’s what it looks like. But I’m new - just signed up, using app on my phone. So … could be user error. Def can’t edit what’s there - but not a screenshot - I can can copy-pasta results easily if I wanted to
I’m looking for a ~1 month Airbnb type apartment rental or house-sitting opportunity for the month of #June in #WestSeattle. For my folks, who are visiting while I deal with some health stuff.
They’re in an Air Bnb now, moving out June 2, availability is looking tight….
🙏
@debbieanne_11 But that cover!
Thanks for the info, though - I won’t go chase em down, I guess.
I wish the Fantagraphics series had the Sunday strips in color anyways, since they rarely continue a storyline, I don’t mind missing ‘em - breaks up the flow having them in there.
@debbieanne_11 Curious - how is the reprint quality / size in these volumes relative to the Fantagraphics books?
Maybe I’m just getting old, but I’m reading the Fantagraphics series and sometimes with they were bigger.
And I love the 80’s design on the cover of this!
@drvolts So then: your kids & my daughter (class of 2020).
This was driven home for me recently - I was quite active for Obama’s first election, canvassing door-to-door. Daughter doesn’t remember.
TRUMP, and time spent with relatives in Idaho - is all she knows of the right wing. 😬
@SnoopertBeagle@UnpackPeanuts Do it! I’m reading along - was lucky enough to hear about the podcast before it started! It’s been a great way to pace myself and study the strips in more detail. The hosts bring a lot of attention and insight into aspects you might otherwise miss.
@sparkfun Love this, but I’m looking for something that samples ~ 1kHz. Know of anything?
That seems to be a gap in the world of data-loggers, I can find loggers that sample MUCH faster, but they are $$$$.
