@SiyeshGameDev If you have some significant amount of fans, surely do patreon, you don't have to provide high quality content for a patreon page. After all, subscribers know what they're subscribing for!
@SiyeshGameDev That's basically what Hoyoverse did with e. g. Genshin Impact, their game wasn't viral online b4 they bought every living blogger & every existing mobile ad network. Only then people started making fan content online voluntarily
Added bounciness for the players, so that they can't abuse standing in front of a wall, ignoring all the incoming knockback.
If you're flying into a wall with high enough velocity, you will bounce off it.

@FableQuest I just might increase player's bounciness on floor... Just to give a feeling of a rubber ball uncontrollably jumping across the room after given some knockback :3
@FableQuest There is a fixed impact speed threshold. For this demonstrational video it's 5 m/s, but in practice it's probably gonna be a little higher... It also checks the angle of a collided surface. Horizontal surfaces like floors have 0% bounciness, while walls and ceilings have ~50%.
@TimitoDA@GamewithDave "Needle in a haystack" is a centuries-old idiom, I don't think it even can be trademarked... You may trademark "Needle in a haystack simulator", but can it affect other games called "Needle in a haystack" then? Nuh uh
I've decided to choose the worst time possible to start developing an online multiplayer game in EU.
I hope with all my heart #KIDSAct will not be approved, because that will just mean death of game industry. IF YOU LIVE IN EU, LEAVE FEEDBACK ON THE ACT: https://t.co/bdxOsL8VmA
Apparently I had an issue with the texture having slightly brighter color than it should have been, because textures aren't treated in correct color space in custom shaders if not passed with `: source_color` hint.
I was looking for what image i could use as a profile picture because I had nothing prepared... until i started to work on player character's dynamic face
i can't stop giggling
Godot is such a funny engine
