Kids in Mississippi are learning to read at grade level. But what good is literacy if it doesn't come with a laundry list of socialist demands for the "common good"? Any educational model that successfully teaches children without expanding government power and dependence must be rejected. After all, the goal isn't to educate children. It's to advance the political agenda.
