My daughter is now consistently asking for things. Actual verbal requests. She says "Juice please. I want ice cream. Open please." Even when I pull up the Youtube kids home page and it shows all the video thumbnails she will say whatever is in the thumbnail like "ladybug" to tell me the one she wants.

I have been drilling this with her for years, saying all the phrases out loud myself, I out loud narrate everything that we are doing so she builds up the word associations and she is doing it all consistently now. You can tell she is thinking "damn, this is way easier" so she is just directly asking for stuff now and verbally communicating.

I am over the moon and I have never been more proud in my entire life.
