If Juve buy Lucumi and another club buys Muharemovic - spend 30, get 15 from Sassuolo - net 15m spent.

Juve are not getting a 50% discount. They already effectively own half of the player.

They're only buying the other 50%, at full price.

If another club buys him, Juve get 50% of that fee too. So net cost for Juve is his full value.
