Let this be a lesson to all of you out there market shopping. Always read the full label! You see "anti-fatigue" and think "yes, I am tired". I am happy to put this in my tea.
A few people yesterday were asking about non-traditional methodologies for examining security interventions. I'm not an academic so this is dangerous territory, but I thought I'd share a few things that I've found helpful- please send me more reading that you would recommend too!

8/8 In the meantime, I hope that the president’s announcement that he will appear before parliament on Saturday to discuss the electoral process brings some calm, and that peaceful negotiations prevail: https://t.co/mtt6qq1DV3
1/8 As different parts of the Somali National Army clashed in #Mogadishu over contested elections, I returned to my notes from interviews with international military trainers from 2016-2020 and... it's sort of there from the beginning. A few (paraphrased!) thoughts:
7/8 Please someone cheer me up and tell me that it actually is and I’m missing it. I would be genuinely delighted! I’m looking at you @whitneygrespin, @PDWilliamsGWU, @Charlie533080, @BPST_A, others!
Thanks @austingcommons! I will have to offer virtual beers in return for now, but hopefully real beverages will be an option in the not-to-distant future... 🍻
