According to the Premier League, a straight elbow to the mouth = straight red. 🚨
But when it’s Arsenal, suddenly the rules change… make it make sense. 🤔

Do you have a CO2 isotherm fitted to a single- or dual-site Langmuir model and a H2O isotherm fitted to a BET or GAB model? You may find the coadsorption model from our newest preprint useful! We explored the use of BET extended isotherms for CCS sepns: https://t.co/NUWq68k9JZ
Love Henry as a player obviously but his track record is pretty evident now. Pipes up when things aren’t going well and then quiet when they are going well. The “ask Mikel” answer when Micah pushed back is a complete cop out.

Andy Dunn chief writer for the Mirror who wrote this piece on Lewis-Skelly.
His reaction on Van Dijk challenge on Richarlison
“When you are as good and as cool as Virgil van Dijk, perhaps it is inevitable a referee or VAR will occasionally give you the benefit of the doubt.”
It’s the Thursday after Oliver’s decision to send MLS off. Since then, the FA’s independent panel have upheld Arsenal’s appeal, rightly so and we’ve all moved on. Five days on, I’m seeing clips of Gary Neville complaining about it and we’re the cry babies. Incredible stuff.
Premeditated, foul play, law breaking, no victim, Villain. Is this how an 18 year old gets vilified for the incompetence of a referee.
What kind of shoddy journalism is this ?
They can character assassinate an 18 year old but question it and they will claim their mental health is being attacked
Pathetic and Spineless.
The ref, the VAR, PGMOL leadership all agreed that the MLS red card was the correct decision.
The whole footballing world said they were wrong.
Now an independent panel has agreed with the fans.
PGMOL leadership was not mature enough to own an egregious mistake and it burned resources on trying to gaslight the fans into believing the decision was right, then it tried to shift the narrative to a different story with pliant media surrogates.
The focus of Howard Webb should be on excellence of decision-making - he is lost in the job. His focus isn't there. We've seen enough.
Change is a non-negotiable now. Premier League must act. PGMOL is an underperforming supplier of services that is damaging its prestige reputation of the best league in the world.
Time for auditors, compliance officers, and a clear out of the deadwood. The new era should reward referees with better pay, performance bonues for making correct decisions, and the focus should be on finding refs that don't want to be the main character.
Time for a new era.
Elite referees can make nearly half a million pounds per year across all competitions. I’m guessing if you don’t restrict the job search to greater Manchester you might be okay.
Building on the amazing work done by @scottjwillis, I made a simple viz to compare Michael Oliver's refereeing decisions for the top 6. And the results are quite concerning if you're an Arsenal fan.
To start with, Oliver punishes Arsenal nearly twice as harshly as any PL side 🧵
