@PreKillick@moseskagan@sp6runderrated I'm further left than moderate and agree 100%. One party rule anywhere is detrimental to all. Both parties' leadership believes rejection of other side's extremes = an endorsement for their party's extremes & we get stuck in the insanity. Bring back more moderates.
@moseskagan@sp6runderrated Even before they became politically toxic the "limited government" position was show. Republicans have increased government power and reach for 40 years. It's nothing more than a talking point. Which sucks because we need it. So frustrating
@TyronMcDaniel@prmade313raised Interesting. How so? Which brands? My memory of McDonald's when I lived overseas was that it sucked. I gave it 3 tries (France, Switzerland, Germany). This was in 2007 though so maybe things have changed ...
I’m a California Conservative who HATES our Democrat establishment, but there is no logic to the evidence-less theory that our elections are rigged.
Those duped by this theory can’t explain…
-How the GOP won numerous close congressional races in 2022
-How Steve Hilton is going to beat a Democrat who spent $200 million and make the runoff
-Why the LA Democrat establishment would prevent Spencer Pratt from being Mayor Bass’ opponent when he would have been WAY WAY easier for her to beat than Raman will be
MAGA is really bad at a lot of things, but math and logic are their biggest weaknesses.
😡🤮🤦♂️
@gunnarmeland5@JaredDHardin@JoinCrowdHealth I check for options 2x per year, looking at everything under the sun. I just connected with someone local who might be able to help. Fingers crossed
@JulieChangRE I keep saying this. And young people are tired of older gen acting like their experiences from 30 years ago are relevant today. I could work part time & pay for college. My grandpa was a milk man & owned a house, 2 cars, raised a family. Those options flat out don't exist today.
@JaredDHardin@JoinCrowdHealth Yeah they don't have to abide by ACA rules. Looked into them. I'm healthy but wife & daughter apparently didn't meet their underwriting & turned us down.
Our rates just went up. $46k year just on premium. Another $10m on out of pocket and Rx
Our system is broke.
@davidsess They won their war against abortion rights & found a new target - trans people, a way better boogeyman for their hatred. And it worked for them: the backlash against the LGBTQ is greater than they ever hoped & better than they knew they'd get if they just focused on gay people
@jamesbohanpitt Time will tell. Still not sure why you'd want to legally block seller paying BAC vs letting buyer and seller negotiate what's best for them.
But we've discussed enough. Thanks for a positive discourse. Cheers.
@jamesbohanpitt It's an imperfect system. & trust I hear you. We often try to lessen seller exposure through a competitive offer that won't have issue appraising.
Interestingly I'm dealing with this in real-time with a FSBO.
@jamesbohanpitt Agreed reduction in BAC would help seller. But if buyer pool cannot support the cost to buy + BAC, seller has way fewer buyers and lower offers. Remember the buyer cannot roll that fee into mortgage if he's paying the BAC. That only happens when seller pays for it.
@jamesbohanpitt If you were selling your house and the offer netting you the most money required you to pay BAC would you take it? Or would you decline the $ bc other professions & rest of world don't do it that way?
