After Knudsen Vineyard was established in 1971, the entire family got involved in planting the vines.

By 1972, Knudsen Vineyard had 30 acres, making it the largest vineyard in the Willamette Valley. By 1975, with 60 acres, Knudsen Vineyard was the largest in OR.

📜When Knudsen Vineyard was established in 1971, there were no AVA's in the region. The Willamette Valley was named in 1984, with Yahmill-Carlton as the first sub-AVA in 2004. The Dundee Hills was established in 2005.
