I can't speak to the security unit. they were covered by a different MOU than the electrical workers were. but over my 30 year career I worked a lot of OT and I never got paid time and a half all day for working 1 minute OT. there is one very rare exception. If you work 16+ hours and then return for your next shift without getting an 8 hour break you return on overtime pay. that said i never once got that and I never once heard of anyone getting that. that had to be approved by management way high up. it may happen in some specific situations but its not normal or commonplace

The theory is that the genetic predisposition is to really like sex with men. This results in an evolutionary dead end for males but females with the gene will have more children than women without it. This is why the genetic trait passes on to the next generation. Studies found that female siblings of gay males had more children than average which boosts that theory. You can take or leave the theory but that’s the scientific rationale for how the trait would survive.
