Hello, I'm Kodi Leigh and I am a catcher with Arizonia Storm 18U Sheehan. I'm a very hard worker, self-motivated, and committed to play at Alfred University NY.

I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that I have verbally committed to play college softball at Alfred University beginning in Fall 2026, and I will be signing my National Letter of Intent to make it official! This has been my biggest dream as a high school athlete, and I truly believe Alfred University is exactly where God has led me for this incredible next chapter. I’m so excited to join the Saxons softball family while pursuing my studies in Biochemistry and Pre-Vet, continuing to push my limits as an athlete, building unbreakable bonds with my teammates, and representing Alfred University with pride and passion both on the field and in the classroom as a member of the Empire 8 Conference. A huge, heartfelt thank you to my amazing family and the incredible coaches who made this moment possible—especially Jeremy Trujillo, who coached me from ages 8–16 and ignited my lifelong love for the game. There truly aren’t enough words to express how much you mean to me or how grateful I am for everything you’ve done. And thank you to Coach Mike Sheehan, who believed in me every single day, recruited me, and helped transform my hitting into something special. Your love, guidance, encouragement, and unwavering faith in me mean more than words can express. Had a blast this past weekend with my amazing friends and Team @AZStormSheehan in the Queen of Diamonds. We went 5 & 2 scoring 58 runs! Next up January 3rd PGF National Qualifier in Queen Creek. Let’s go win this thing !

This weekend was a great outing overall. I got to face some excellent pitching and tough competition. It started off slow, I was feeling defeated and starting to break down, fortunately, I have a strong foundation and incredible leadership in my life. Coach Sheehan pulled me aside and reassured me that my mechanics were solid and that he liked where I was at and to stay focused on the work we’ve put into the swing. I took his words to heart and finished the weekend going 3-for-5 with three home runs — including two back-to-back bombs! 💣💣 Huge thank you to Coach Sheehan for his encouragement and inspiration, and to Coach Luke Wesneski for coming all the way from New York to watch me play — I truly appreciate it. Now it’s time for a much-needed 10-day break, except for practice of course. Then it's off to Don Battles On Tournament November 21st–23rd in California. I’m looking forward to getting back out there, swinging with confidence, and dropping more bombs! 💣🥎💣

Had a great weekend at the Arizona Fall Invitational. I went 10 for 16 batting 0.625 with 8 runs and 6 RBI’s. Hit 1 homer and 2 doubles.

A little action from this past weekend at Surf City PGF in Huntington Beach. Played some tough opponents, got some great work in! I love how this team battles and can't wait to move on to the next opponent. We have 2 scrimmages this week, both with community colleges on Wednesday and Saturday, tune in on Gamechanger if you want to watch @AZStormSheehan get after it.
