You're out of your fucking mind. The only presidents to bring the deficit down were Clinton and Obama. One third of the $40 trillion in debt comes from Trump alone.
And Trump has been the most interventionist/least free market president in our lifetimes--in addition to being the most corrupt.
CNBC went off on Harris for two weeks calling her a socialist for suggesting harsher enforcement of price gouging. Trump is extorting companies for payments and equity stakes every two minutes, and weilds tarrifs based on who likes him and who doesn't. He provides Federal disaster relief based on whether a state voted for him.
@atrupar The governments of Japan and South Korea provided $12.6 billion and $5.8 billion, respectively, to support the U.S. military presence 🇯🇵🇰🇷

@byHeatherLong I would be SHOCKED, shocked I tell you! if we found out that grocery stores and ag & beef suppliers were using the same AI pricing software that the egg companies were just busted and fined for using...
@DeItaone "...as of early February 2026, Iran allegedly aspired to conduct a surprise attack using unmanned aerial vehicles from an unidentified vessel off the coast of the United States..."
@Retail_Guru@conorsen IMHO - the unfortunate truth is many restaurants are not worth going to anymore due to inflation... our experience is restaurants cutting quality and at the same time increasing prices
@Emmanuel_Gold84@mark_dow@Emmanuel_Gold84 When a government spends more than it taxes (running a "fiscal deficit"), government effectively injects financial assets into the corporate sector. (G - T) = (S - I) + (M - X)
G-T: Govt spending - taxes
S-I: Saving-investment
M-X: Imports - exports
@SixSigmaCapital I’m not sure how Twitter places posts in my timeline. Seems I’m never served the posts by the people I follow that would interest me the most. Perhaps posts with specific words are more widely viewed and attract more engagement.
I love a tangy sourdough. I didn't think to look for its relative benefits over regular bread... thank you! I may experiment with allowing it. I do miss the smell of steaming Basmati rice in the kitchen, but feel better without the added carbs. I don't miss sugary desserts at all.
@SixSigmaCapital I opted for blue check b/c ad load was insane - also to try grok. After buying blue check, I still receive ads - just fewer ads. Timeline is unreadable, even worse than before the blue check, though likely attributable to US election cycle.
@SixSigmaCapital For me, eliminating simple carbohydrates like sugar, bread, pasta, rice, and potatoes. Eliminated most milk products - but allow some cheese. Also not eating after 6pm or before 9am. Coffee and tea black.
