SUMMER SPEED ⚡️
Week 4 🧱

▪️Skips / Hops / Bounds
▪️Resisted Sprints
▪️Big Curves
▪️Team Races

Weeks 1 & 2 of Summer Training are always the easiest. The athletes are fresh, fatigue hasn’t accumulated yet, and mornings are still pretty cool here in Western PA.

Weeks 4–6 are where the separation happens.

The heat is relentless. Workouts start to feel repetitive. Legs get a little heavy. Motivation fades.

The athletes who continue to show up and attack the work are usually the same ones making plays in the fall.

A much-deserved few days off. 💪

2026 Young Warrior Camp… great job by all!

[Tim Cortazzo @T_Cortazzo]

SUMMER SPEED 💨
Week 2 🧱

▪️Hops / Skips / Jumps
▪️MB Throw Variations
▪️Resisted Sprints
▪️Curved Sprints
▪️Team Races

One tried and true way to get the best out of athletes is COMPETITION.

Who can throw the MB the highest?
Who can Broad Jump the farthest?
Who can WIN each race?

Want to improve?
COMPETE all summer long.
