Glyph Universe (@GlyphUniverseAI) has 5 full soundtracks and exactly zero audio files.

From day one I cared about sound as much as the visuals. The falling star, the confetti pop when you win, the tiny click, the bgm. 8-bit audio is pure nostalgia, and it's what makes a small game feel bigger than it is.

So I composed 5 moods you can switch between: cozy town (Animal Crossing energy), space lo-fi, intense battle, ambient, chiptune.

The twist: none of it is a file. Instead of loading audio, I wrote a tiny synth in code. Web Audio spins up an oscillator, I hand it a frequency, and the browser calculates the waveform live. That's a note. Drums are just white noise I shaped until it sounded like a hi-hat. The sheet music is arrays and loops.

Zero files means it loads light and swaps moods instantly. A whole soundtrack living in a few hundred lines of code.

yesterday was my last day at @ValantisLabs c:

i had an absolutely incredible time building with a team of 5 other killers over the last two years

together, we:
- shipped truly novel technology
- scaled from $0 to $250m in AUM
- acquired a company that was multiple times bigger than our own at the time
- had a blast

i'm very proud of the work we accomplished together and will continue to be one of their biggest fans moving forward

however it's clear to me that it's time for a different challenge in my life

will be doing the usual grass touching before making my next move <3
