@ClassicMovieHub My FIL, who worked swing, joined us daily 4 the 1st 20 mins, then lickity split the last 10 mins to get to work on time. Next day, we'd catch him up on the 10 mins he'd missed of the previous day's episode.

@MyBeauDes @Mr_Husky1 So, so true. And they don't even have to be your own. I miss the grandpups that crossed the rainbow bridge that belonged to my kids and grandkids. Tippy, Red, Jello, Puggsly, Rocky, Tux, as well as our own Wilderness & Pepper. They live in our hearts & minds 4ever.

@jjgiddes @pressurethefilm Back in the day, smoking was glorified, shown & advertised everywhere --- in movies, tv, comics, newspapers, magazines, etc. ANYONE bought cigs. Little kids like my brother & I & our friends were sent to buy cigarettes for our parents all the time.
