As a European, two things annoy me in football (aka “soccer”).
1. Penalties. They give an unfair advantage and can decide a game. Nothing is more demoralizing than some random hand at the corner of the penaltt area, no chance for the team to score and suddenly it’s a 90% chance.
2. Offside. How many times was a goal cancelled due to penalty? It takes the joy away from seeing the goal getting scored. There’s always this uncertainty for a while until it’s confirmed. Also, offside kills the flow of the game. I get why it exists, but it should work in a different way.
I know they run crazy fast. I’ve seen normies trying to run just a minute in this tempo. But don’t bullshit me here, pal. It’s a different story to be lean and efficient and run at a constant speed for 2 hours with no breaks, vs short sprints from a standing position where you need to accelerate fast.
@SimonHoiberg You are absolutely right. I have nothing to hide other than disdain for socialism and affinity for dark humor, both of which might become a problem in some/all EU states.
@_Sosthene_@Jpan241 Brother, these Czechs played some dreadful football. Reminded me of how Poland plays. Croatia on the other hand is a team of fighters. I felt sad for their loss against “England”.
@ArielKow@Karol5617518048@SysolKing@metakognita No tak, bo wg postu Maja potrzebuje jeszcze 2 finalow, by wyjsc na zero. Czyli tak jakby miala dlugi. Ale jesli to sponsorzy wykladali te kase, to dostali zwrot w postaci promocji ich marek.
@Konrad_Wernicki Kibicowanie takim reprezentacjom traci sens, moim zdaniem. Albo przyjmujemy nacjonalizm za postawe pozytywna, i podziwiamy jak nacje rywalizuja sportowo, albo obywatelstwo nic nie znaczy i ogladamy zawody miedzy ludzmi zamieszkujacymi jakis obszar, ktorych nic nie laczy.
Yeah, 15-20k steps per day is not only convenient but also healthy, makes you feel like you used your body in the way it was designed (apart from banging chicks, lol).
Having lived L.A., would you miss being able to walk/cycle everywhere, if you were to go back? To me, I would not like to live in any place that isn't walkable.
