Long before the thought of having a collection of 4,444 NFTs, there was a peach colored dream π
I thought I was just checking out another NFT project, turns out I stayed for the art
So... what exactly is Momoyumemi (ζ‘ε€’θ¦)?
If you're looking at this thinking, "Okay... what's everyone seeing that I'm not?" Don't think too much okay. You're not alone
All you need to know is that Momoyumemi is a character centric NFT art project centered around a lovable peach dream girl named Momo
Which is just a fancy way of saying: the art slaps and you'll probably end up wanting to see more
The meaning behind the name roughly translates to "the one who sees peach colored dreams"
The first thing that caught my eye? Those soft peach colors
Before I knew it, I was zooming in on the expressive eyes, the twin tails, and even the fish eye lens effect... every little detail just fit
Throw in the retro anime and early internet vibe, and it all somehow works. Cute? Definitely. A little weird? Yeah... but in a good way
Behind all of this is Lola @cutemikaasa , the founder and artist behind @momoyumemi
Knowing Lola has spent more than 15 years as a concept artist made the artwork make a lot more sense. Momo suddenly didn't feel like another collection
It felt like a world she'd been carrying around for years
Momo first launched on Tempo, becoming the first NFT collection on the chain, before making its move to Ethereum in May 2026, bringing the project closer to the wider NFT ecosystem while staying true to its artistic vision
Eventually, that world will be shared through 4,444 NFTs on Ethereum
For an art first project like this, the NFT isn't just a collectible
It's actually a way for collectors to own an original piece of Momo's world on chain while directly supporting the artist behind it
Maybe that's why people are paying attention
They're waiting for a chance to become part of Momo's world.
Very kawaii (β§β½β¦) π
I don't think employee mode has anything to do with having a job. I think it starts the moment you stop thinking for yourself.
I learned that the hard way when I first got into Web3. I kept waiting for someone I trusted to tell me which projects were worth joining, where to contribute, and what opportunities were worth my time. I thought I was learning, but I was really borrowing someone else's judgment.
The moment I started researching projects on my own, making my own decisions, and accepting that I'd get some of them wrong, everything changed.
That's why I don't believe founder mode begins when you start a company.
It begins when you're willing to own your decisions instead of outsourcing them to someone else.
You can have a founder title and still spend your life waiting for validation. You can also have a regular job and think like a founder because you take initiative, solve problems, and back your own judgment.
Maybe that's why @RallyOnChain stood out to me in the first place. Nobody can submit your ideas for you. At some point, you have to trust your own thinking enough to put your work out there.
When I first got into Web3, I made one mistake that held me back for months.
I treated someone else's path like it had to be mine.
Every project I joined was because someone introduced me to it. Every decision depended on someone else's conviction. I wasn't learning how to think for myself, I was just following.
Then one of those projects didn't turn out the way we'd hoped after putting so much time into it. One day, she said something I'd probably been avoiding hearing: "You can't keep following everything I do." I wasn't expecting her to say it, but I also knew she was right.
That conversation changed something for me.
I started finding projects on my own, reading the docs myself, joining communities myself, and deciding where I wanted to contribute instead of waiting for someone else to point the way.
The first project I discovered on my own eventually became one where I earned a role in the community.
Looking back, the biggest thing holding me back wasn't my lack of experience. It was outsourcing my decisions to someone else. The moment I stopped waiting for someone else to point the way, I started building my own judgment.
That's one reason I appreciate what @RallyOnChain is building. You don't need someone to open the door for you. If you can create something original and valuable, you can contribute.
