@roblox Why are Robux 64% more expensive in @Poland, a country where the average annual income is near the bottom of the U.S. poverty level?

If you include the cost of Roblox Plus and what it takes to publish games on the platform now, you're basically pricing out an entire country with superior dev and creative skills. Did you forget The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 came out of @CDPROJEKTRED in Poland?

Even if you account for taxes (sales tax in the US and VAT in Poland, Poland is still ~35% higher.

Reconsider these prices. This is insane.

To do this would require a complete overhaul of the platform and security. Asset loading, monetization, IP controls; all of that is streamed to the client.

And regarding IP, toolbox assets might be free to use, but that doesn't give the user/developer the legal right to copy those into a client download.

The ownership of every single asset in a game is tracked. Models, textures, decals, sounds, and even unions have properties identifying who created/uploaded it. Even if you only allowed developer owned assets, games developed by teams have assets created by all members of that team and would be nearly impossible to save.

Monetization would either still require an internet connection, or the player would have to pay for it.

That's not to say it can't be done, because it can. But if Roblox did this, the number of games that would be eligible for such a feature wouldn't justify the effort IMO.

@ThirtyVirus @livingdevops The LLM knows what a sandwich is, how it should be cut, and likely trained on the data. Despite this, it still chooses a solution that violates it's own training data, simply because "thinking" and "reasoning" takes far more memory and tokens than guessing multiple times.
