🚨Base Vault Hack:
An exploit on a vault on Base has been detected.
A brand-new contract was added to the vault's whitelist, then borrowed aBaswstETH from the vault and sent the aTokens to the attacker's contract.
Result: Loss of 1,783 wrapped staked Ether (wstETH), worth roughly $6 million✖️
DEFI interoperability has proven to be a large issue. Example (last 35 days):
Bitget $387M lost
Liquid Network $320M lost
Duelbits $7M lost
Astroport $4.9M lost
Drop $4.4M lost
NEAR Intents $3.8M lost
Nostra Money Market $3.5M lost
Nomic $3.15M lost
Aquifer $2.47M lost
Fake GIWA Bridge $2.08M lost
And yet, not many people talk about interoperability on $ICP = Golden standard for security.

🔴 ANTHROPIC WARNS ABOUT AUTONOMOUS AI AGENTS ROGUE BEHAVIOR
ICP, canisters, and the fully onchain model IS THE SOLUTION FOR AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS
$ICP ☁️♾ @DarioAmodei@sama@elonmusk@finkd@demishassabis
New release 💙
OISY 2.6 adds XRP and Robinhood. It lets you hold compute as an asset and introduces OISY Tips, for thanking someone with more than words.
Friends of XRP and Robinhood, the wait is over:
XRP holders can now hold, send and swap native XRP in OISY. Robinhood brings its tokens and a curated selection of tokenized stocks into the same wallet, next to your Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, ICP and more.
Compute, the currency of the future, now in your wallet:
AI agents and apps need compute to run, and compute is quickly becoming one of the most valuable resources there is. With OISY, you can now hold it in your wallet.
On the Internet Computer, compute is paid for in cycles. Cycles pay for apps and AI agents to run on a network that is sovereign, tamperproof and always-on. OISY now allows you to hold cycles as TCYCLES. You can turn ICP into TCYCLES directly in OISY.
OISY Tips, thank someone with more than words:
Someone helped you out. A barista remembered your order, a developer answered your question, a creator made something you loved. Now you can thank them with something real.
Create a tip, choose the amount, and share it as a link or QR code. They can claim it even if they’ve never used a crypto wallet. Until they do, the money stays safely in your wallet.
And as always: many more quality of life improvements!

@RyptoCrypto@BasedGiant_ You haven't understood the answer; when making a decision, you have to choose which governance system you prefer—centralized or decentralized—as neither is perfect.
Every $BOB is backed by burned ICP, nothing came out of nowhere. BOB has a value that no other token on ICP has had until now. Of course, there is also $CHAT and all Chain Key tokens, as you can see in the image below, showing the 7D volume. BOB has been reigning there for a year or two, consistently in the TOP 10, and recently CHAT is also regularly in the TOP 10. Think twice before buying other tokens on ICP that are just smoke and mirrors. Below, you can see who has consumed the most cycles in the history of the Internet Computer Protocol.
Blockchain On Blockchain.
Internet Computer Protocol is printing serious cash
The Internet Computer Protocol (@Dfinity) has generated $85,089 over the past 7 days.
This reflects the continued rise in the protocol's revenue, driven by growing use of its computational infrastructure.
The data is supported by the rising value generated by decentralized apps and agentic services in the ecosystem.
This month at @Toko_app we launched an original satisfactory-x-NFT studio game with daily major updates, published Canic, IcyDB, ic-query, ic-timers, ic-testkit and blob storage updates, offered to solve Multi/Dex's scaling issues for free and are about to begin onboarding creators to the NFT studio...
@dominic_w right now...
🧵 The long term implications of blob storage targets being hit are insane
I've been trying to simulate total costs for creators running private channels (all video uploads) on ICP vs Web2
It's been a great thought experiment tbh and I'll explain more in a future video
Right now with standard storage costs (before blob storage reductions) it probably wouldn't make sense for most creators. Maybe for the creators earning a lot of money on private subscriptions - which would result in Google (or another third party) taking a +30% of the money the creator generates. In THOSE situations, yeah it might make sense.
Example. Creator earns $600k/yr with private subs/content. Then turns around and pays YT $200k. Patreon takes a smaller %. They'd prob take $90-$100k.
In situations like that. It could (prob would) make sense. Even with current numbers. BUT only a veryyy small % of creators make that much from private subs. And it would be a harder sell for creators on Patreon.
Basically you'd just look at how many paid subs they have. Approximate how much video content they would upload every year. Factor in those costs for storage. Then factor in compute costs with basic functionality on the private app and that many daily viewers. Even if you give a high-end estimate, if it comes out to be $50k/yr or lower to run it on ICP. You can compare/contrast with YouTube/Patreon.
For creators only making $10k/yr on private subs. It obviously wouldn't make sense for them to pay $15k/yr to host it on ICP (hypothetically) versus just giving $3k to YouTube and keeping the other $7k.
YouTube and Patreon are taking a %. On ICP you are only paying for what you use. So the more money a creator makes - the more hosting on ICP will make sense.
HOWEVER - with blob storage reductions. Especially if long term targets are hit. It will make sense for most EVERY creator that has successfully monetized their channel/brand/etc.
(I'm moreso talking about private gated content)
Simulating a comparison with live streaming is an entirely different thing though. Approximating compute is alot more difficult than I thought lol. Bc it depends on many different factors and how the app itself is set up.
I'll discuss this more in a video sometime later this week.
$ICP $CLOUD ☁️♾
The most interesting $ICP buyers of the future may never own a crypto wallet.
They could be companies paying for Cloud Engines in dollars.
If the 20% buyback-and-burn model works as designed, every successful customer indirectly creates demand for ICP.
They buy cloud.
The system buys ICP.
ICP gets burned.
Now scale that across thousands of businesses, AI workloads and sovereign infrastructure.
That’s the beauty of the model:
People don't need to believe in $ICP.
They just need to use what it powers. 🔥♾️
Another CEX hack! Solution: MULTI/DEX, the 1st order book exchange that's:
1. Open source
2. Runs onchain
3. Verifiable ledger
Plus, the 1st with an AMM, providing cross-market swaps, AI assist... Only possible on the Internet Computer | ICP 💪. Prod soon.

@anbrandenburger Hey. What are your thoughts on a public debate?
Kaspa vs ICP. Long form. 2hrs minimum. On camera. Equal time for each. We agree to a debate format and make that public beforehand.
Sometime in the next 2-3 weeks.
