It’s been hard to go from 15+hours a week to 0, feeling guilty for not doing it and for trying to do it but feel like I should be grading etc.
Even if you don’t have a progress review to submit, do one for yourself. Make a list of all the things - PhD and non-PhD related- that you’ve done recently. You’re still making progress even if it is at a different pace or in an unexpected way. #phdlife#phdprogress#phdchat

My first group of dissertation seminar students finished today. Ever so proud of them. Went a bit extra and made word clouds and ribbons using keywords from their dissertations. Uni equivalent of handprint art at playgroup. #academiclife#academicwriting
