On 19 February 2026, Ambassador @gloriagangte participated in the NICCI Member Meeting in Oslo, engaging with Norwegian and Indian business leaders to advance India–Norway cooperation.

In her address, the Ambassador highlighted strong opportunities in green technology, maritime industries, rare earth minerals, carbon capture, renewable energy, healthcare innovation, and talent mobility. She also noted the positive momentum created by new trade frameworks, including the India–EFTA partnership, and upcoming high-level engagements such as the India–Nordic Summit.

Ambassador Gangte underlined India’s long-term vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047- Viksit Bharat 2047 — built on shared values of democracy, sustainability, and human-centric development.

The programme featured discussions on Indian talent for Norway’s needs, an economic update on India, smarter business travel connectivity between Norway and India, and the role of Norway Chess in strengthening business diplomacy.

The Embassy of India looks forward to continued collaboration with Norwegian partners to advance mutually beneficial partnerships.
